Gary Madine's outstanding strike against Cardiff City has been voted as December's Goal of the Month by Burnden Aces readers.

Madine, who netted two of Wanderers' seven goals during the final month of 2015, received the ball on the left flank from Jose Manuel Casado, before cutting inside and finding the bottom corner of the Bluebirds' net.

The former Sheffield Wednesday forward was also the runner-up in our vote, for his half-volley against Blackburn Rovers, while Josh Vela's first senior goal at Charlton Athletic finished in third place.
