Gary Madine and Mark Davies could come back into contention for Bolton's trip to Preston North End, after suffering minor injuries against Leeds United.

Wanderers will be without the suspended Prince-Desir Gouano for next Saturday's trip to Deepdale, after he was sent off against United, but manager Neil Lennon revealed both Madine and Davies, who were replaced in the game at Macron Stadium, should be available by the time the fixture comes around.

Speaking after the draw against Leeds, Lennon confirmed a heavy blow to the head had left Madine concussed, while Davies was taken off as a precaution after receiving a knock to his Achilles.

"He (Madine) had a touch of concussion," Lennon said. "He had a little bit of a blackout, so obviously we couldn't take any chances.

"We lost Mark at half-time with an Achilles problem, but we're hoping that's not too serious."
