Hayden White scored his first senior career goal, as Blackpool recorded a 2-0 victory over Crewe Alexandra on Saturday.

White, who joined the Seasiders on loan from Bolton last week, was making his home debut at Bloomfield Road and made a lasting impression by firing his new club ahead in the 64th minute.

Blackpool sealed the points three minutes from time when former Wanderers midfielder David Norris was fouled inside the Alexandra box by Chris Atkinson, providing Jack Redshaw with the opportunity to stroke the ball home from the penalty spot.

Victory moves Blackpool up to 19th in the League One table, two points clear of the relegation zone, while Crewe remain at the foot of the division.
