Medo Kamara won his 22nd international cap on Tuesday, playing 90 minutes in Sierra Leone's 2-1 victory over Chad.

After losing 1-0 to the same opposition on Saturday, Sierra Leone fell behind on the stroke of half-time when Leger Djimrangar struck for the second time in as many games to seemingly secure Chad's passage into the next stage of the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualification process.

Sierra Leone struck back after the break, however, with goals from Al-Hadji Kamara and Abu Sesay putting them ahead on the night, but the Leone Stars were unable to find a decisive third goal as they crashed out of the competition on away goals.

Their World Cup hopes may be over, with just less than three years still to go until the finals begin in Russia, but Kamara and Sierra Leone will now turn their attention to next year's Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, which begin in March.
