Kamara Wins 21st Cap; Chad 1-0 Sierra Leone

Medo Kamara won his 21st international cap on Saturday, playing 90 minutes in Sierra Leone's 1-0 defeat to Chad.

Although the 2018 FIFA World Cup remains just shy of three years away, the African qualifying section began last week.

Sierra Leone's route to Russia began at Stade Omnisports Idriss Mahamat Ouya, in N'Djamena, but they crashed to a shock loss courtesy of Leger Djime's 47th minute goal for the home side.

Kamara, who hasn't featured for club side Bolton since September 2014, was booked in the game, but will be eligible for the second leg on Tuesday, which will be played at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium in Port Harcourt, Nigeria.
