Bolton cross the Pennines on Saturday, as they prepare to face Huddersfield Town at the John Smith's Stadium.

Following on from their goalless draw against Sheffield Wednesday in midweek, Wanderers will look to extend their unbeaten run to five games with a positive result in the White Rose county.

A return of just three goals in seven league outings to date is a worrying statistic for manager Neil Lennon, who looks set to be without Zach Clough for the remainder of the year after he dislocated a shoulder against the Owls on Tuesday night.

Stephen Dobbie and Emile Heskey will both hope to be involved in the absence of Clough, although Gary Madine is expected to continue as the focal point of the Wanderers' attack despite failing to net since his arrival over the summer.

Prince-Desir Gouano and Derik Osede will continue at the heart of the defence, with Dorian Dervite (ligaments) and David Wheater (calf) both unavailable, while Dean Moxey and Lawrie Wilson will continue to feature while recent signings Francesco Pisano and Jose Manuel Casado build up their fitness levels.

Max Clayton and Liam Trotter, along with the aforementioned Wheater and Pisano, came through a behind-closed-doors game this week, but aren't expected to feature until after the next international break, while Darren Pratley remains sidelined with an ankle injury suffered on the opening day of the season.

Huddersfield boss Chris Powell will look to build on their 2-1 victory at Charlton Athletic last time out, with the trio of Nahki Wells, Tommy Smith and Jamie Paterson all pushing for recalls to the starting line-up.

Emyr Huws and Mustapha Carayol both made full debuts in their win at The Valley and could retain their places, but there is a major doubt over the fitness of Jonathan Hogg as he struggles to overcome an ankle problem.
