Neil Lennon lavished praise on his team's defensive display, but acknowledges Bolton still need to add to their attack after a goalless draw against Sheffield Wednesday.

Wanderers extended their unbeaten run to four league games on Tuesday, as they were held by the Owls at Macron Stadium, but their failure to hit the net means they continue to be the Championship's lowest scorers.

Speaking after the game, Lennon expressed his delight at the Trotters' performance at the back and refused to be too downbeat after focusing on the 'positive aspects' of an evening's work.

"I thought it was a very good game," Lennon told the club's official website. "It was really open, particularly in the first half.

"Both teams created good chances to score and early on I really couldn't see the game ending goalless.

"We tweaked things a little bit in the second half to try and balance things out and I thought we finished the game strongly. We're just lacking a little bit in the final third at the moment.

"I thought Neil Danns was outstanding in the middle of the park, whilst Prince (Desir Gouano) and Derik (Osede) were both very good at the back.

"We're now four unbeaten and it's another point on the board. There are a lot of positive aspects to our play at the moment. We look like a difficult team to beat and there is a bit more resilience about us.

"We're having a real go right now and the players are giving me everything right now."
