Neil Lennon rolled back the years on Sunday, as he captained a Celtic legends team in memory of Jock Stein to raise charity funds for the current refugee crisis.

Stein played for Celtic and managed both clubs to silverware - including the 1967 European Cup during his time at Celtic Park - but passed away 30 years ago this week after suffering a fatal heart attack following Scotland's draw against Wales in Cardiff.

Just under 5,000 spectators were in attendance at Dunfermline's East End Park, as names such as Lennon, Chris Sutton, Stiliyan Petrov, James McAvoy and Martin Compston returned to the field of play.

Lennon, who led the Bhoys out, was joined hand-in-hand by young supporter Jay Beatty, who suffers from Down's Syndrome and achieved worldwide fame after he was handed a Scottish Premiership winner's medal in 2014.

Goals from John Watson and David Bingham gave Dunferlime victory on the day, as the total of online donations closes in on the £5,000 milestone - DONATE HERE.
