Jamie Thomas and Conor Wilkinson were both in action on Saturday, as they represented their nations in friendly matches.
Thomas, who has broken into Bolton's first-team squad in the early stages of this season, featured for Wales U19s as they drew 1-1 with Poland at The Book People Stadium, in Bangor.
Having trailed to their visitors, Cardiff City forward Rhys Abbruzzese equalised late on as David Hughes' side salvaged a result that looked like eluding them for long periods.
Meanwhile, at Bury's Gigg Lane, Conor Wilkinson played the opening 45 minutes as Republic of Ireland U21s ran out 4-1 winners over Qatar U23s.
A quickfire double from Fulham's Sean Kavanagh put the Republic into a 2-0 lead inside 20 minutes, before Preston North End's Alan Browne added a third five minutes after the restart.
Almoez Ali Abdulla pulled one back for Qatar just after the hour, but Ireland restored their three-goal lead when Queens Park Rangers midfielder Reece Grego-Cox slotted home to secure the victory.
Wilkinson could yet see more international action this week, when the Republic travel to Andorra on Tuesday.
