Prince-Desir Gouano has been voted as Bolton's Man of the Match in Saturday's 0-0 draw against Derby County.

After completing a move to Wanderers on Friday and training just once with his new teammates, Gouano was handed a surprise start at Macron Stadium and produced an assured display alongside fellow Frenchman Dorian Dervite at the heart of the Trotters' defence.

The 21-year-old saw off competition from Gary Madine and Jay Spearing to take the award, after they finished second and third respectively.
