Tim Ream won his 14th international cap on Saturday, playing the full 90 minutes in USA's 1-0 victory over Haiti in the Gold Cup.

Ream, who was an unused substitute for the States' opening game against Honduras, returned to the starting line-up as Jurgen Klinsmann's side secured their passage through to the quarter-finals.

Clint Dempsey scored the only goal of the game at the Gillette Stadium, latching on to a cutback from Gyasi Zardes before picking up the top corner of Johny Placide's net.

Ream's outing in this game marked his first start for the United States since June 2011, when he took to the field for a Gold Cup clash with Panama. Should he retain his place, the 27-year-old will line-up against the same opposition when they meet at Kansas City's Sporting Park in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
