Bolton players will report for the first day of pre-season training on Monday, with some fresh faces expected after a summer of high turnover at Macron Stadium.

With just less than six weeks to go until the start of the 2015/16 Sky Bet Championship season, Neil Lennon will assess the fitness of his squad and put them through their paces ahead of a trip to Austria next Monday.

Ben Amos and Gary Madine are expected to be at the club's Euxton training base, with confirmation of their transfers from Manchester United and Sheffield Wednesday awaiting the official go-ahead from club officials.

Darren Pratley, whose contract had been due to expire on Tuesday, will also be present, as the club plan to announce he has signed a new deal to remain with the Trotters.

Eidur Gudjohnsen and Emile Heskey have yet to commit their futures to Bolton, but should be at training, although Tim Ream is unlikely to turn up after he was called into the United States squad for the Gold Cup that begins on July 10.

The first-team squad, along with a number of potential promotees from the development squad, will spend the week settling back into the routine of training in Lancashire, before flying out to Austria for an intensive camp that will also see them take in fixtures against Sturm Graz and SC Paderborn.

Upon their return to England, Lennon's side will travel to Morecambe on July 17, Oldham Athletic on July 21, Scunthorpe United on July 24 and Port Vale on July 28, before ending their build-up to the new season with a home game against Chievo Verona on July 31.

The new campaign kicks off on August 8, when Wanderers play host to Derby County at Macron Stadium.
