After confirmation of a free transfer to Liverpool was announced, Adam Bogdan has issued an open letter to Bolton supporters.

Bogdan will complete a move to Anfield when his Wanderers contract expires at the end of the month, bringing an end to an eight-year spell at Macron Stadium which yielded 120 senior appearances for the club.

In an open letter, posted on the club's official website, the departing Bogdan said:

I would like to say thank you to Bolton Wanderers for giving me the opportunity to fulfil my dream and become a professional football player in England. It was eight years ago when I first came to the club and I feel Bolton have helped make me the player I am today.

I have to say a thank you to all of my coaches during my time at the club, as every one of them has contributed something towards my game. A huge thank you also goes to the fans. I have fond memories of you all and it makes it really hard to leave the football club.

However, I have been given a fantastic chance in my life to join Liverpool Football Club and I would like to make the most of this opportunity. I’m looking forward to the next chapter of my career, but I will never forget the time I have spent at Bolton.

I wish everyone associated with the club all the very best.

Thank you,

Adam Bogdan
