June 7, 2015 - Palacios to Join Pre-Season Tour of Austria

Wilson Palacios, of Wigan between 2008 and 2009, is a free agent following his release from Stoke City and is looking to rebuild a career which has stuttered during his time at the Britannia Stadium.

After a successful loan spell at Birmingham City, Palacios completed a £1million move from Olimpo to Wigan in January 2008 and spent 12 months with the Latics prior to a £12million transfer to Tottenham Hotspur. He went on to spend two-and-a-half years at White Hart Lane, before moving to Stoke for £8million in August 2011.

A mixture of injuries and poor form ultimately saw Palacios fall out of favour with the Potters, though, and he will leave the club at the end of the month having played just 53 games in four years.

Having failed to make a single appearance this season, the 30-year-old is looking for a new club and has been given the option of training with Wanderers when they travel to Austria next month. (The Sun)

Outgoings - Bogdan and Pratley to Complete Moves

Two men whose futures look to lie away from Macron Stadium are Adam Bogdan and Darren Pratley, who were both featured in last week's round-up.

Despite late interest from Nottingham Forest, who are managed by former Bolton boss Dougie Freedman, Adam Bogdan is closing in on a free transfer to Liverpool and is expected to sign after returning from international duty with Hungary. (Burnden Aces)

Pratley, who was last week said to be on the verge of a move to Ipswich Town, has since been linked with a summer move to Queens Park Rangers, who are reportedly ready to match the player's £20,000-a-week wage demands in order to see off competition from Town and Bolton. (Get West London)

Incomings - Amos to Replace Bogdan?

With Adam Bogdan expected to complete a move to Liverpool in the coming fortnight, attention immediately turned towards his successor between the sticks at Macron Stadium. Ben Amos, who made nine appearances during a loan spell with Wanderers last season, has been identified as the club's number-one target. (Burnden Aces)

Manchester City midfielder Seko Fofana and Real Sociedad forward Alfred Finbogasson are both said to be on Neil Lennon's list of targets, with loan moves to the duo being speculated. (The Bolton News)

Finally, this week, reports in the Irish press have linked Wanderers to the double transfer of Dundalk pair Richie Towell and Daryl Horgan, with a combined fee of £500,000 being touted. (Talk of the Town)
