Chievo Verona will provide the opposition in Bolton's final pre-season friendly of the summer, when they visit Macron Stadium on Friday 31st July 2015.
After news of an Austrian training camp and four domestic away games were revealed last month, Wanderers have confirmed they will face the Italian side just eight days prior to the start of the new campaign.
Nicknamed Mussi Volanti, which translates to the 'Flying Donkeys', Rolando Maran's side finished 14th in Serie A this season, four places and nine points clear of the relegation zone.
Strike duo Alberto Paloschi and Sergio Pellissier ended the campaign with nine and seven goals, respectively, as they headed the club's goalscoring charts, while Riccardo Meggiorini also weighed in with four to his name.
They are likely to take to the field on July 31, with kick-off scheduled for 20:00.
