June 1, 2015 - Bogdan & Mills Close on Summer Transfers

Last month, Bolton revealed 13 players are to leave Macron Stadium when their contracts expire on June 30. Five others - Adam Bogdan, Darren Pratley, Eidur Gudjohnsen, Emile Heskey and Harry Campbell - were to be offered fresh terms to remain with the club, but Wanderers look set to add at least one of those to their release list.

Bogdan, who is currently the longest-serving senior player at the club, is said to be closing in on a free transfer to Liverpool, where he will serve as back-up to Simon Mignolet.

The Hungary international has been offered a new deal in the region of £18,000-a-week to remain with the Trotters, but the Reds' are reported to have put a £20,000-a-week contract on the table which Bogdan is expected to sign in the coming days.

One man who wasn't offered a new contract by Bolton is Matt Mills, who, despite late interest from Fulham and Leeds United, is on the verge of linking up with former Wanderers manager Dougie Freedman at Nottingham Forest.

Outgoings - Pratley to Ipswich, M Davies to Palace?

Aside from the aforementioned Bogdan and Mills, two other Bolton players linked with departures from the club over the course of the last week are Darren Pratley and Mark Davies.

Pratley is due to fall out-of-contract at the end of June and has been offered the opportunity to remain at Macron Stadium, but Wanderers reportedly face competition from Ipswich Town for the player's signature. (The Bolton News)

A flick through Sunday's gossip columns has linked Mark Davies with a potential reunion with former teammate Lee Chung-Yong, after he is said to have courted interest from Premier League side Crystal Palace. (Sunday Mirror)

Incomings - Hooper, McGinn, Bessat, Browning & Galloway

Wanderers supporters awoke on Sunday morning to speculation that Norwich City forward Gary Hooper may be made available for loan next season, with his former Celtic manager Neil Lennon likely to make the 27-year-old his top transfer target this summer. (Burnden Aces, via The Sun)

Everton will look to loan out development squad duo Tyias Browning and Brendan Galloway for the first half of the new campaign, with Bolton likely to challenge both Brentford and Cardiff City for the talented duo. (Liverpool Echo)

Aberdeen forward Niall McGinn is said to be on Lennon's wish list, with the 27-year-old former Celtic man priced in the region of £500,000. (The Bolton News)

Finally, this week, reports in our nation's capital suggest Bolton will compete with Championship rivals Charlton Athletic for the signing of 29-year-old Vincent Bessat, who will become a free agent when his contract at Nantes expires on June 30. (London 24)
