Hot on the heels of announcing their retained list for 2015/16, Bolton have revealed they have offered new deals to four of their out-of-contract players.

13 players will depart Macron Stadium when their existing deals come to an end on June 30, while a further nine will return to their parent clubs at the end of their respective loan deals.

Adam Bogdan, Darren Pratley, Eidur Gudjohnsen and Emile Heskey could all follow suit in a matter of weeks, but Wanderers boss Neil Lennon is determined to keep hold of his top players and has offered fresh terms to the quartet.

Bogdan, who joined Bolton from Hungarian side Vasas in August 2007, is the longest-serving member of the senior squad and has 120 appearances to his name. He has been identified by Lennon as his first-choice goalkeeper for the new campaign, after Andy Lonergan's release was confirmed, although talks between the club and Bogdan's representatives continue.

Pratley was a free transfer from Swansea City in July 2011 and has appeared 117 times for the Trotters, with 11 goals to his name. He became an integral part of the team last season, before a torn hamstring forced him out of the final three months of action.

Meanwhile, the veteran duo of Gudjohnsen and Heskey could see their deals extended for a further 12 months after winning over their doubters since joining the club late last year.

14 years after completing a £4million transfer to Chelsea, Gudjohnsen returned to Wanderers in December and went on to score six goals in 24 appearances - taking his overall total up to 33 goals in 101 outings.

Heskey's agency company, MN2S Talent Agency, last week announced the 37-year-old had put pen-to-paper on a new 12-month contract at Macron Stadium, although official confirmation from the club itself has yet to be forthcoming.
