May 8, 2015 - Potters Chase Bogdan Signature

Reports coming out of the Potteries on Thursday suggest Stoke City are exploring the possibility of taking out-of-contract Bolton goalkeeper Adam Bogdan to the Britannia Stadium.

With Inter Milan and Tottenham Hotspur said to be interested in wantaway stopper Asmir Begovic, Stoke may decide to cash in on a player who has just over 12 months remaining on his contract.

Bogdan has reportedly been offered a new deal worth around £18,000-a-week at Macron Stadium, but news of Premier League interest, combined with the opportunity of first-team football at a higher level, may tempt Wanderers' longest-serving player into a summer departure.

The prospect of Bogdan leaving Bolton next month has led to reports that manager Neil Lennon is seeking funds to sign Molde goalkeeper Orjan Nyland, who has a release clause of £2.3million in his contract. (Daily Mail)

With the purse strings pulled tight at Macron Stadium, the most viable option may already be a part of the squad.
