Barry Bannan could win his 20th international cap next week, after being named in the Scotland squad for games against Northern Ireland and Gibraltar.

Bannan, who joined Bolton on loan from Crystal Palace on transfer deadline day, has made nine appearances for Wanderers and will be part of a squad looking to bounce back from a 3-1 defeat at home to England back in November.

Gordon Strachan's side host Northern Ireland at Hampden Park on Wednesday 25th March 2015 in a Vauxhall International Challenge match, before resuming their UEFA Euro 2016 qualification campaign with another home fixture against Gibraltar the following Sunday, March 29.

Scotland are currently 3rd in qualifying Group D, level on points with 2nd-placed Germany and three behind group leaders Poland.
