Dean Whitestone will referee Saturday's Championship fixture between Bolton and Brighton & Hove Albion at Macron Stadium.

Wanderers go into the game on the back of a 1-0 defeat at Middlesbrough on Tuesday, while Albion were 2-0 winners against Leeds United on the same evening.

Whitestone, who will take charge of the game, has officiated 21 matches so far this season - issuing 46 yellow cards and three red.

His last outing was on February 21, when he was the man in the middle for MK Dons' 3-0 victory over Peterborough United in League One. The Northamptonshire official produced two yellow cards in that game, with one player on each side a recipient.

Whitestone's last match in charge of Bolton was in August 2012, when they were held to a 2-2 draw by Nottingham Forest at the Reebok Stadium. Six bookings were made that night, with Wanderers' Tyrone Mears, Zat Knight and Kevin Davies among those to have their names taken.

The last time he refereed a Brighton fixture was in November 2012, when they were 2-0 winners over Bristol City at the AMEX Stadium. Whitestone kept his cards in his pocket on that occasion.

Below is the full set of officials for Saturday's game between Bolton and Brighton & Hove Albion:

Referee: Dean Whitestone
