Darren Pratley faces six to eight weeks on the sidelines, after tearing his hamstring in Bolton's 2-2 draw with Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday.

Pratley has gone from zero to hero since Neil Lennon's appointment at Macron Stadium last October, featuring in all but one of Wanderers' games and taking his tally up to 117 appearances for the club.

The 29-year-old was forced off the field early in the second-half at the weekend and left the field clutching the back of his left leg.

The former Swansea City midfielder was sent for a scan and the results have revealed a tear in the muscle, that is likely to keep Pratley out of action until the end of March.

Following the sale of Lee Chung-Yong to Crystal Palace, Lennon is likely to call upon the likes of Barry Bannan and Simeon Slavchev ahead of Saturday's trip to Derby County. Both players are ineligible for Wednesday's FA Cup fourth-round replay against Liverpool.
