Sanmi Odelusi completed a loan move to Coventry City on Saturday and marked his debut with a goal in their 2-2 draw with Rochdale.

After working his way back to full fitness, following surgery on a cruciate ligament injury last year, Odelusi trained with the Sky Blues on Friday and officially joined the club until the end of the season the following day.

On his first senior appearance since being forced off in MK Dons' 1-0 defeat at Port Vale last April, the 21-year-old gave his new club the lead after Callum Camps had cancelled out Dominic Samuel's opening goal for the hosts.

Unfortunately for Odelusi, his goal didn't prove to be the winner as substitute Calvin Andrew equalised for Dale midway through the second-half at the Ricoh Arena - before the Bolton loanee was replaced by Simeon Jackson with 15 minutes left to play.

Elsewhere, Jay Spearing made his Blackburn Rovers debut - playing 84 minutes in their 2-1 victory over Fulham at Ewood Park.

Kaiyne Woolery, another Wanderers player sent out by manager Neil Lennon, was also a debutant, completing the full 90 minutes in Notts County's 3-0 defeat at Oldham Athletic.
