Neil Danns has committed his future to Bolton, by signing a new contract that will keep him at Macron Stadium until the summer of 2016.

Danns joined Wanderers on loan from Leicester City in September 2013 and made the move permanent last summer, following news of his release from the King Power Stadium.

The 32-year-old has become a key figure of the first-team since Neil Lennon's arrival as manager in October and he boasts a record that has seen him score nine goals in 66 appearances for the club.

He was due to fall out of contract at the end of the campaign, but Danns has put pen-to-paper on a 12-month extension.
