Ahead of Bolton's trip to Liverpool on Saturday, we take a look back at Wanderers' famous 2-0 victory at Anfield in January 1993.
After the two sides played out a 2-2 draw at Burnden Park, a replay was required to see who would advance through to a fourth round tie away at Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Bolton, then of the third tier, upset the odds to defeat their Premier League opponents, who had lifted the trophy just eight months earlier, courtesy of goals from John McGinlay and Andy Walker and a sublime performance from David Lee.
