Liam Trotter's stunning strike at Sheffield Wednesday last April has been voted as Bolton's best goal of 2014, by Burnden Aces readers.

Trotter, who spent the second half of last season on loan with Wanderers before making the deal permanent in July, has scored just once in 27 appearances for the club, but any future additions to that tally are unlikely to rival his superb effort at Hillsborough at the end of the previous campaign.

The former Ipswich Town midfielder easily saw off competition from Mark Davies, Lukas Jutkiewicz and Max Clayton to claim the award.
