Woolmer to Referee Bolton v Leeds

Andy Woolmer will referee Saturday's Championship fixture between Bolton and Leeds United at Macron Stadium.

Wanderers go into the game on the back of a 1-0 victory over Wigan Athletic last Saturday, while United were beaten by the same scoreline at Sunderland - both of which were in the third round of the FA Cup.

Woolmer, who will take charge of the game, has officiated 19 matches so far this season - issuing 52 yellow cards and no red.

His last outing was on December 26, 2014, when Wycombe Wanderers were held to a 1-1 draw by Luton Town in League Two. The Northamptonshire official produced four yellow cards in that game, with each team receiving two apiece.

The last time he refereed a Leeds fixture was in November 2014, when they were beaten 3-1 at Cardiff City. Five players were booked in that game, three of which were on the United side.

Woolmer has never previously taken charge of a Bolton game.
