Trevor Kettle will referee Sunday's Championship fixture between Huddersfield Town and Bolton at the John Smith's Stadium.

Wanderers go into the game on the back of a 2-1 victory over Blackburn Rovers on Boxing Day, while the Terriers played out a 2-2 draw with Rotherham United at the New York Stadium.

Kettle, who will take charge of the game, has officiated five matches so far this season - issuing 17 yellow cards and no red.

His last outing was on December 13, when he was the man in the middle for Walsall's 3-1 victory over Barnsley in League One. The Rutland official produced four yellow cards in that game, three of which went to the away side.

Kettle's last match in charge of Bolton was in March 2013, when Wanderers were beaten 3-2 by Charlton Athletic at The Valley. Seven yellow cards were shown that day, while red cards were shown to Trotters players Sam Ricketts and Craig Davies.

The last time he refereed a Huddersfield fixture was in September 2012, when they were 1-0 winners over Derby County at the John Smith's Stadium. Four players were booked in that game, three of which were on the home side.
