Craig Pawson will referee the Championship fixture between Bolton and Blackburn Rovers on Boxing Day, which will be played at Macron Stadium.

Wanderers go into the game on the back of a 1-0 victory at Millwall on Friday night, while Rovers were 2-0 winners over Charlton Athletic the following day.

Pawson, who will take charge of the game, has officiated 13 matches so far this season - issuing 42 yellow cards and four red.

His last outing was on December 20, when he was the man in the middle for Queens Park Rangers' 3-2 victory over West Bromwich Albion in the Premier League. The South Yorkshire official produced one yellow card in that game, to R's defender Richard Dunne.

Pawson's last match in charge of Bolton was in August 2012, when Wanderers were 2-0 winners over Derby County at the Reebok Stadium. Four yellow cards were shown that night, with Matt Mills, Zat Knight and Mark Davies all on the receiving end for the home side.

The last time he refereed a Blackburn fixture was on January 15, when they were beaten 5-0 at Manchester City in the FA Cup. He booked three players in that game, including Rovers forward DJ Campbell.

Below is the full set of officials for Friday's game between Bolton and Blackburn:
