Bolton boss Neil Lennon paid tribute to his injury-depleted squad, after they emerged victorious from their Friday night game at Millwall.
Wanderers recorded only their second ever away league win at The Den, as Darren Pratley scored the only goal to extend the club's unbeaten run to seven games.
Speaking after the game, Lennon admitted he was delighted to have secured all three points and also reserved special praise for in-form duo Andy Lonergan and Lee Chung-Yong.
"It's certainly up there with one of the best away performances during our time at the club," Lennon told the club's official website.
"We played some very good football and created plenty of chances throughout. We were good value for the win.
"In the second half in particular, I thought we were very good.
"Our goalkeeper is playing superbly and he made a world class save late on. That's now four clean sheets in a row and defensively we're in a very good place.
"In Lee Chung-Yong we've also got a player who can light up most stadiums in the country, let alone the Championship.
"We played him a little bit deeper tonight because we wanted to get him on the ball a bit more. He brings so much to the team when he's on the ball and makes our team so much better.
"There were a couple of decisions that could have gone either way. They maybe feel they could have had a penalty early on in the second half, but equally we think that Rob Hall was clipped inside the area in the first half.
"I think on the balance of play we deserved the win. We played without a recognised striker this evening and to do as well as we did is very pleasing."
