Bolton will play host to Wigan Athletic in the third round of the FA Cup, with the tie taking place during the opening weekend of 2015.

The fixture, which will take place on either January 3-4, 2015, pits the two Lancashire rivals together for only the second time in the history of the competition.

Their only previous pairing came at the fourth round stage in 2011, when a solitary goal from Ivan Klasnic booked Wanderers a place in the last 16 of the tournament in a replay at the DW Stadium - following a goalless draw at the Reebok Stadium in the original tie.

Owen Coyle's side went on to reach the semi-finals that season, where they would eventually be beaten by Stoke City.

Elsewhere, Arsenal will play host to Hull City in a repeat of last season's final, while non-league sides Dover Athletic, Gateshead and Wrexham will face Premier League opposition in the form of Crystal Palace, West Bromwich Albion and Stoke City, respectively.
