Bolton forward Tom Eaves has joined League One strugglers Yeovil Town on a one-month loan deal.

Eaves, who has made four appearances since making his Wanderers debut in April 2013, has failed to make the breakthrough to first-team football at Macron Stadium and was reportedly close to sealing a permanent switch to MK Dons in the summer.

The 22-year-old has previously spent time on loan at Bristol Rovers, Shrewsbury Town and Rotherham United, respectively, and goes into contention for Yeovil's game at home to Preston North End on Saturday.

The former Oldham Athletic forward has scored 16 goals in 80 career appearances, through various levels of The Football League, all of which have come during spells out on loan.

He will return to Bolton on January 5, 2015, when his future will be assessed by Wanderers boss Neil Lennon.
