Mark Davies' fine individual effort against Brentford has been voted as Bolton's Goal of the Month for October, by Burnden Aces readers.

Davies, who had been introduced as a substitute just two minutes prior, chested the ball under control before skipping away from two defenders and rolling the ball into the bottom corner of the net.

The former Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder saw off competition from Neil Danns and Craig Davies to take the award, with the top three all coming in the same fixture against the Bees.
