Scott Duncan will referee Friday's Championship fixture between Bolton and Wigan Athletic at Macron Stadium.

Wanderers go into the game on the back of a 3-0 victory over Cardiff City on Tuesday, while the Latics were beaten 1-0 at Brighton & Hove Albion on the same evening.

Duncan, who will take charge of the game, has officiated 14 matches so far this season - issuing 34 yellow cards and one red.

His last outing was on October 28, when he was the man in the middle for Swindon Town's 3-0 victory at Chesterfield in League One. The Northumberland official produced four yellow cards in that game.

Duncan's last match in charge of Bolton was on March 15, when Wanderers were beaten 2-0 by Brighton at the Reebok Stadium. No cards were shown that evening.

The last time he refereed a Wigan fixture was on March 22, when they were 2-1 winners over Watford at the DW Stadium. Four yellow cards were issued that afternoon, with Latics' Martyn Waghorn the recipient of one of those.
