Bolton are likely to receive a letter from The FA next week, informing them of a £25,000 fine for their poor discipline in Saturday's 3-1 win over Brentford.

Wanderers received six bookings in their game against the Bees, who, in comparison, escaped the attention of the referee's notebook.

Dorian Dervite, Neil Danns, Lee Chung-Yong, Jermaine Beckford, Craig Davies and Jay Spearing were all shown yellow cards by Mark Heywood, in a game in which the Trotters committed no less than 18 fouls - compared to Brentford's eight.

The charge comes one week after manager Neil Lennon was sent to the stands during Bolton's 1-0 victory at Birmingham City, a situation which arose because of his insistence to regularly leave his technical area at pitchside.

Wanderers are still waiting to hear whether Lennon will face any punishment for his dismissal at St Andrew's, but they are likely to be warned about their future conduct following Saturday's accumulation of yellow cards.

Bolton's Yellow Cards vs Brentford

Dorian Dervite is cautioned for kicking the ball away, after Bolton had conceded a free-kick on the halfway line.

Neil Danns enters the referee's notebook for a foul 30 yards from the Wanderers' goal.

Lee Chung-Yong is booked for a foul which left Brentford's Alan McCormack requiring extensive treatment on an ankle injury, which eventually saw him stretchered off the field.

Jermaine Beckford is shown a yellow card for dissent, after harshly being adjudged to have brought down Jon-Miquel Toral inside his own half of the field.

90+7 MINS
Craig Davies decided to celebrate his goal by taking off his shirt, prompting the referee to enforce the rules and add another booking to his collection.

90+9 MINS
Jay Spearing makes it six yellow cards for Bolton, as the Wanderers skipper is cautioned for a needless foul on Jon-Miquel Toral.
