Simon Hooper will referee Tuesday's Championship fixture between Charlton Athletic and Bolton at The Valley.

Wanderers go into the game on the back of a 1-0 victory at Birmingham City on Saturday, while the Addicks were beaten 1-0 at Bournemouth on the same afternoon.

Hooper, who will take charge of the game, has officiated 14 matches so far this season - issuing 40 yellow cards and two red.

His last outing was on October 18, when he was the man in the middle for Sheffield United's 2-0 victory at Bradford City. The Wiltshire official produced six yellow cards in that game, as well as dismissing Bradford's Stephen Darby from the field of play.

Hooper's last match in charge of Bolton was on August 30, when Wanderers were beaten 1-0 by Leeds United at Elland Road. Two yellow cards were shown that day, both of which went to United players.

The last time he refereed a Charlton fixture was in November 2013, when they were 2-0 winners over Doncaster Rovers at The Valley. Two yellow cards were issued that evening, with both sides picking up one apiece.
