Mark Haywood will referee Saturday's Championship fixture between Birmingham City and Bolton at St Andrew's.

Wanderers go into the game on the back of a 2-1 defeat to Bournemouth before the international break, while the Blues claimed a 1-1 draw at Charlton Athletic on the same Saturday afternoon.

Haywood, who will take charge of the game, has officiated 12 matches so far this season - issuing 34 yellow cards and two red.

His last outing was on October 4, when he was the man in the middle for Derby County's goalless draw with Millwall at the iPro Stadium. The West Yorkshire official produced eight yellow cards in that game - with both sides receiving four apiece.

Haywood's last match in charge of Bolton was in August 2013, when Wanderers were beaten 3-0 at Nottingham Forest. Five yellow cards were shown that day, four of which were issued to Trotters players, while Darren Pratley was dismissed for receiving two of them.

The last time he refereed a Birmingham fixture was in April 2014, when they were beaten 4-2 by Blackburn Rovers at St Andrew's. Four yellow cards were issued that day, three of which went to Blues players.
