Dorchester Town have completed the signing of free agent Andy Robinson, three months after he was released by Bolton.

Robinson spent the final few weeks of last season on loan at Wanderers, before converting his stint from Southampton into a permanent arrangement in May.

He signed a 12-month contract at Macron Stadium, but was allowed to leave the club in July - with then-manager Dougie Freedman citing homesickness as the reason for his release.

The 21-year-old spent time on trial at Charlton Athletic earlier this year, but, after failing to land a contract in the Football League, has dropped five levels down the English league pyramid by agreeing non-contract terms with the Southern Football League Premier Division side.

Robinson has been included in the Dorchester squad for Saturday's FA Cup third qualifying round tie against Hendon at the Avenue Stadium.
