Bolton Wanderers have unveiled their third kit for the 2014/15 season, as they commemorate the 100th anniversary of the First World War.

The limited edition kit, of which just 1,000 have been produced, is to be launched in partnership with BLESMA, The Limbless Veterans - with £10 from the proceeds of each sale being donated to the charity.

Priced at £44.99, the third kit will go on sale exclusively to Wanderers season ticket holders on October 12, 2014, with any remaining units being placed on open sale two days later - October 14, 2014.

The shirt, which is to be manufactured by Macron, is a military green colour and features the FibrLec logo in monotone white. The words from the Laurence Binyon poem, 'For The Fallen', feature on the inside neck label of the shirt, while the message of 'Lest We Forget' is embossed on the rear.

Each shirt will come in a unique presentation box, providing supporters with a special collectable item as the Christmas period begins to close in.

Speaking to the club's official website about the charity partnership, BLESMA chief executive Barry Le Grys said: "We are delighted Bolton Wanderers have launched this initiative.

"BLESMA formed in the aftermath of World War One with amputee veterans helping each other showing teamwork in adversity.

"Today, our Members face the realities of limb loss every day of their lives, but with support like this they will not be alone as they strive for independence and purpose. We are immensely grateful."

Gianluca Pavanello, CEO of Macron, said: "We are honoured to be asked to contribute to the BLESMA charity project through the provision of a custom-made shirt and presentation box and look forward to seeing the positive impact that this project will have on the lives of the limbless veterans that Blesma help to support."

Phil Gartside, chairman of Bolton Wanderers, added: "Everyone at Bolton Wanderers is proud to be associated with BLESMA and the incredible work they do supporting our limbless veterans.

"Our special thanks also go to Macron for producing another hi-quality bespoke shirt in support of this initiative."
