Jamie Thomas marked his Wales under-19 debut with a goal on Tuesday night, in a 3-1 victory over Montenegro, in Bar.
Thomas, who recently scored four goals for Bolton in an under-18s win over Blackburn Rovers, marked his first appearance for David Hughes' side in style - helping the young Dragons to a win in the first of a double header against their Montenegrin counterparts.
Wales fell behind in the 18th minute, but levelled five minutes before the break thanks to Cardiff City's Abdi Noor. Thomas put the away side ahead early in the second-half, before Swansea City's Kyle Copp came off the bench to add a third.
The two sides meet again at 16:00 (BST) on Thursday.
