The Football League have today revealed that clubs in the Championship, League One and League Two paid a combined total of £17.7million to agents last season - representing an 18% drop on the £21.5million total posted in 2012/13.

Championship clubs accounted for £14.7million of that final total, with clubs throughout the three divisions paying agents in 860 of the 3,355 player transactions that took place.
