Alex Baptiste admits he is enjoying his football at Blackburn Rovers and says he doesn't want to play another game for Bolton.
Baptiste joined Wanderers on a free transfer from Blackpool in July 2013 and made 43 appearances in his debut campaign at the Reebok Stadium, but moved to Ewood Park on a season-long loan deal last month as Trotters boss Dougie Freedman made room for the signing of Kevin McNaughton.
The 28-year-old is just four games into his time with Rovers and when quizzed about his long-term future, Baptiste said he would do everything in his power to turn his temporary move into a permanent fixture next summer.
"It's fantastic, I love the place," Baptiste told the Lancashire Telegraph.
"The staff and the fans have been absolutely fantastic, I feel at home here, I couldn't have asked for a better club.
"I don't want to go back.
"I can definitely see a future here.
"The staff have been fantastic, the manager has been unbelievable, and I'm really enjoying my football again, which for the past 18 months I haven't done.
"I am smiling again.
"I know it is early doors and I've still got to prove myself, but if I could sign here then, yes, I'd snap their hands off."
