Hayden White has been voted as Bolton's Man of the Match in Saturday's 2-1 defeat at Brighton & Hove Albion.

White started place of the injured Kevin McNaughton at the AMEX Stadium, making only his fourth competitive appearance for Wanderers, and impressed in a right-back position which could also have been occupied by Oscar Threlkeld.

The former Sheffield Wednesday defender saw off competition from Craig Davies and Adam Bogdan to claim the award, which is the first he has ever received from the voting supporters.
