Comedian and television presenter Paddy McGuinness has nominated the Bolton Wanderers first-team squad to take part in the Ice Bucket Challenge.

The Ice Bucket Challenge is the latest trend to hit social media and started in the United States, with individuals pouring a bucket of ice water over their head and/or donating money to the ALS Association.

The challenge hit British shores earlier this month and McGuinness, who has donated to the Motor Neurone Disease Association, nominated the Wanderers first-team squad after partaking in the activity himself.

A common stipulation of the challenge is that individuals respond within 24 hours, so we shall expect an update from the club in due course.
