Reports on Monday suggest Birmingham City are interested in signing Bolton midfielder Robert Hall on loan.
Hall joined Wanderers from West Ham United in July 2013, but has been restricted to just 25 appearances for the club - making just 11 league starts.
The 20-year-old spent five months at St Andrew's in 2012/13, making 13 appearances, and Blues boss Lee Clark is said to be interested in signing the former England youth international for a second time.
Birmingham are actively looking for a replacement for Chris Burke, who moved to Nottingham Forest in the close-season, and Hall's current position in the pecking order at Macron Stadium could be enough to see a temporary deal come to fruition.
