Joe Mason has been voted as Bolton's Man of the Match in Saturday's 2-2 draw with Nottingham Forest at Macron Stadium.

Mason marked the start of his third loan spell with Wanderers with a goal, as he headed home a Jay Spearing free-kick just four minutes into the game. David Wheater was also on target for Dougie Freedman's side, who were twice pegged back as a brace from Britt Assombalonga earned the visitors a point.

Mason, who has now scored on all three debuts for Bolton, narrowly beat off competition from Kevin McNaughton and Lee Chung-Yong to claim the award - in what was one of our closest polls of all time.
