Neil Danns has been voted as Bolton's Man of the Match in Tuesday's 3-2 extra-time victory over Bury at Macron Stadium.

Danns came off the bench with 12 minutes of normal time to play, with Wanderers trailing 1-0 to their League Two opponents.

After Craig Davies had taken the tie into extra-time, Danns netted twice inside the opening six minutes of the additional 30 to put Dougie Freedman's side into the draw for the second round of the League Cup.

Danns, who joined Bolton on a free transfer from Leicester City in the summer, saw off competition from Liam Feeney and Craig Davies to claim the award.
