Bolton Wanderers in Graffiti Legends Tribute

Bolton Wanderers fans in the lower tier of the newly renamed Bolton at Home Community Stand are in for a visual treat this coming season.

The club has decked out the length of the North Stand lower concourse with graffiti images of legends from the last twenty five years, as well as current players Tim Ream and Medo Kamara.

Featured alongside Ream and Medo are iconic images of John McGinlay, Kevin Nolan, Kevin Davies, Ivan Campo, Fernando Hierro, Per Frandsen and El-Hadji Diouf. Each image is accompanied by lyrics from a popular terrace chant relating to that player.

But the highlight of the work is surely a marvellous tribute to legendary fan and commentator Dave Higson, who is sadly no longer with us.

The simplicity and beauty of Dave Higson's love for Bolton Wanderers Football Club is beautifully captured.

Dave can be seen holding a microphone, smiling from ear to ear, and his image is accompanied by one of his most famous commentary lines: 'What a Ding Dong Do... shining like a light... Bolton are Back'.

A massive thumbs up to the club and the artists responsible.
