Carl Boyeson will referee Saturday's Championship fixture between Watford and Bolton at Vicarage Road.

Wanderers go into the game on the back of a pre-season which yielded three wins, three draws and two defeats, hoping to perform much better than last season's 14th-placed finish.

Boyeson, who will take charge of the game, officiated 32 matches last season - issuing 91 yellow cards and four red.

His last official outing was on May 12, when he was the man in the middle for Fleetwood Town's 1-0 victory over York City in the League Two play-off final at Wembley Stadium. The East Yorkshire official produced two yellow cards in that game.

Boyeson's last match in charge of Bolton was in August 2013, when Wanderers drew 1-1 with Reading at the Reebok Stadium. Four yellow cards were shown that day and the Royals were also awarded a penalty kick, from which their goal arrived.

The last time he refereed a Watford fixture was back in January, when they drew 1-1 at Bournemouth. Three yellow cards were issued that day, as well as one red - to the Hornets' Gabriele Angella.

Below is the full set of officials for Saturday's game between Watford and Bolton:

Referee: Carl Boyeson
