Bolton Wanderers and Bolton at Home have secured a partnership that will see the Macron Stadium North Stand renamed the Bolton at Home Community Stand.

The two parties made an official link at the start of last season and have successfully worked together to provide sports coaching to more than 400 of the town's poorest teenagers, as well as giving them the opportunity to achieve qualifications and and voluntary work positions.

Over the next 12 months, Wanderers will provide work experience placements to customers of Bolton at Home in a move which is also likely to see Bolton's credit union, Hoot, increase their membership numbers amongst their ethical saving and lending scheme.

Just as they did last season, the two companies will also select a Wanderers home league game to be their community match. Thousands of match tickets will be made available, free of charge, to Bolton at Home customers, providing them with the chance to see their local football team without worrying about the price of admission.

In an official statement, published by the club's official website, Jon Lord, chief executive of Bolton at Home said: "This takes our partnership with Bolton Wanderers to the next level.

"It's a reflection of our commitment to work together to create stronger and more prosperous communities throughout Bolton.

"The partnership focuses on addressing key issues for Bolton such as employment, participation in physical activity and financial inclusion."

In addition to Mr Lord's comments, Bradley Cooper, chief operating officer at BWFC, said: "We provide a range of sport, health and educational activities to thousands of young people across Bolton each year.

"Working with Bolton at Home allows us to engage with even more people, encouraging them to get involved in a programme of positive activities within their own communities and neighbourhoods.

"We're delighted to rename the stand to recognise the importance of the partnership."
