Burnley forward Lukas Jutkiewicz says it feels like he has left two clubs and he will be 'forever grateful' for his time at Bolton.

Jutkiewicz completed a £1.5million move to Turf Moor on Tuesday, bringing an end to a disappointing two-and-a-half year spell at Middlesbrough - for whom he scored just 15 goals in 71 appearances.

'Juke', as he is affectionately known to Wanderers supporters, paid tribute to the club by thanking manager Dougie Freedman and saying his time at the Reebok Stadium was as enjoyable as any other period of his career.

Posting on his official Twitter profile - @Lukeyjuke - he said: "It feels like I've left two clubs today.

"Thank you to Middlesbrough for the last two years. I've met some wonderful people in the north east and leave with many fond memories. Good luck to Aitor (Karanka) and the lads for the new season.

"Thank you to Dougie Freedman and all the staff, players and fans at Bolton for last season. Whilst only being a loan player, I was made to feel at home straight away and enjoyed my time there as much as I ever have anywhere in my career.

"I will be forever grateful for that. I wish everyone at Bolton every success in the future.

"I'm excited for this new challenge that has presented itself and I can't wait to get started with my new team mates at Burnley.

"Thank you to everyone for their kind messages, they are very much appreciated."
